The diagrams illustrate the ingredients of a fish pie and the industrial process used to produce it.

Overall, the dish consists of fish, peas, sauce and potato layered in a container, while the production line involves two parallel preparation streams—one for potatoes and one for fish—before final assembly, freezing and distribution.

In terms of ingredients, a fish pie is made by combining pieces of fish with peas and sauce, topped with sliced potatoes, all placed in a microwavable container.

Regarding the production process, potatoes are first delivered and can be stored for up to one month. They are then cleaned, peeled and sliced before being boiled, chilled and stored. In parallel, fresh salmon is delivered and processed within 12 hours. It is seasoned with lemon juice and salt, then cooked in a steam oven. After cooking, the skin and bones are removed, and the fish is inspected. Any waste generated during both streams is disposed of appropriately.

Finally, the prepared ingredients—including peas, sauce and potatoes—are assembled into containers. The finished pies are then wrapped, frozen, and stored or dispatched for distribution.
