HƯỚNG DẪN VIẾT BÀI

Two different processes for manufacturing black tea

1. Giải thích đề

Sơ đồ mô tả hai quy trình khác nhau để sản xuất trà đen:

phương pháp truyền thống (loose tea)
phương pháp hiện đại (tea bags)

→ Dạng: process \+ comparison

2. Introduction (paraphrase)

Giữ:

manufacturing black tea

Dùng:

shows → illustrates / compares
different → two distinct

Ví dụ:

The diagram illustrates two different processes for manufacturing black tea using traditional and modern methods.

3. Overview (ý chính)

Cả hai quy trình đều bắt đầu bằng:

→ picking \+ withering

Sau đó chia thành 2 hướng:

→ rolling (traditional)

→ cutting (modern)

Cuối cùng:

→ đều trải qua oxidation \+ drying

→ Key idea:

Khác nhau ở giai đoạn xử lý lá trà
Nhưng giống nhau ở các bước cuối

4. Chia BODY

BODY 1 – Giai đoạn chung (initial stages)

Đầu tiên:

→ lá trà tươi được hái (picking)

→ chỉ lấy buds và top leaves

Sau đó:

→ withering (làm héo)

→ không khí được thổi qua lá

→ khoảng 60% độ ẩm bị loại bỏ

BODY 2 – Hai phương pháp khác nhau

Traditional method (loose tea):

Lá được rolling (cán/vo)
Lá bị dập và giải phóng enzyme

Modern method (tea bags):

Lá được cut, torn and curled (CTC)
Tạo ra hạt nhỏ hơn
Quy trình nhanh hơn

→ Ý so sánh:

5. Gợi ý từ vựng

be picked → được hái
be withered → được làm héo
moisture → độ ẩm
be rolled / crushed → được cán / nghiền
release enzymes → giải phóng enzyme
undergo oxidation → trải qua quá trình oxy hóa
turn copper colour → chuyển màu đồng
be dried → được sấy khô
final product → sản phẩm cuối

The diagram illustrates two different processes used to manufacture black tea: a traditional method for loose tea and a modern method for tea bags.

Overall, both processes begin with the picking of fresh tea leaves and a withering stage, after which they diverge into separate techniques before converging again for oxidation and final drying.

Initially, only the buds and top leaves are selected and then left to wither, during which air is passed through them to remove around 60% of their moisture content. Following this, the process splits. In the traditional method, the leaves are rolled flat and broken, which releases enzymes. By contrast, in the modern method, the leaves are cut, torn and curled into smaller granules, allowing for a quicker processing time.

After these stages, both types of leaves undergo oxidation or fermentation. During this phase, the leaves are spread out and exposed to air, causing a chemical reaction that turns them a copper colour. Finally, the leaves are fired or dried using ovens or hot air dryers, which removes up to 97% of the remaining moisture and enhances the tea’s flavour and aroma.
