A home smokery

1. Giải thích đề

Sơ đồ mô tả cách một hệ thống hun khói tại nhà hoạt động để làm chín/thơm cá.

→ Dạng: process (linear process)

2. Introduction (paraphrase)

shows → illustrates / explains
how → the process by which

Ví dụ:

The diagram illustrates the process by which a home smokery is used to smoke fish.

3. Overview (ý chính)

Quy trình gồm 3 giai đoạn chính
Không có vòng lặp → linear process

Key idea:

Không khí đi vào → tạo lửa → khói di chuyển → làm chín cá

4. Chia BODY

BODY 1 – Air intake \+ fire creation

Ở giai đoạn đầu:

→ fresh air enters hệ thống qua một hố có nắp

Không khí:

→ đi xuống và di chuyển sang buồng thứ hai

Tại đây:

→ fire is produced (đốt gỗ)

→ Vai trò:

tạo ra smoke

BODY 2 – Smoke transfer \+ fish smoking

Khói từ buồng lửa:

→ đi qua a pipe

Sau đó:

→ được dẫn vào a box located above ground level

Trong hộp:

→ cá được treo (hung)

Cuối cùng:

→ cá được smoked by the rising smoke

5. Từ vựng ăn điểm

smokery → lò hun khói
fresh air intake → luồng khí vào
lid → nắp
chamber → buồng
firewood → củi
pipe → đường ống
smoke → khói
hang fish → treo cá
above ground level → trên mặt đất

The diagram illustrates how a home smokery is constructed and used to smoke food, particularly fish.

Overall, the system consists of three main parts: an air intake chamber, a fire chamber, and a smoking box. Fresh air is drawn in, heated by a fire, and then the resulting smoke is directed through a pipe to preserve food in a separate container.

Initially, fresh air enters the first chamber through an opening with a lid. This air then moves downward and passes into the second chamber, where a fire is burning. The heat from the fire generates smoke, which accumulates in this section.

Next, the smoke travels through a connecting pipe that leads to a third, enclosed box positioned at ground level. Inside this box, fish are suspended from the top. As the smoke enters and circulates within the box, it surrounds the fish, allowing them to be smoked and preserved.
