HƯỚNG DẪN VIẾT BÀI

Pie charts: Global market share of computer operating systems (2012–2015)

2. Introduction (paraphrase)

Giữ các từ khóa:

global market share

four years

Có thể dùng:

shows → illustrates / compares

market share → proportion

Mẫu:

The pie charts illustrate the global market share of three operating systems and other platforms between 2012 and 2015.

The four pie charts illustrate the global market shares of three computer operating systems (OS1, OS2 and OS3) as well as other systems from 2012 to 2015.

Overall, OS1 rose sharply to become the dominant system by 2015, while the share of other operating systems declined markedly. In contrast, OS2 and OS3 showed relatively minor fluctuations over the period.

In 2012, other systems accounted for the largest share at 48%, followed by OS1 at 20%. OS2 and OS3 represented 17% and 15% respectively. By 2013, OS1 had increased dramatically to 38%, overtaking others, whose share fell to 35%. OS2 remained unchanged at 17%, while OS3 declined to 10%.

The upward trend of OS1 continued in 2014, reaching 47%, before peaking at 52% in 2015. Meanwhile, the proportion of other systems dropped steadily to 23% in 2014 and then to just 15% in 2015. OS2 rose slightly from 17% to 18% and then stabilized, whereas OS3 fluctuated modestly, decreasing to 12% in 2014 before recovering to 15% in the final year.
