The larger room is designed for two occupants.
It is equipped with two beds and two study desks.
The single room has a more compact layout.
Fewer facilities are provided in the smaller room.
Both rooms include a bathroom in a similar position.

The diagrams compare the layout of a student room designed for two people and one designed for a single occupant, along with their respective weekly costs.

Overall, the room for two people is larger and contains more furniture and facilities, while the single room is more compact and simpler in design. Despite the higher total cost, the shared room appears more cost-effective per person.

The room for two people measures 6 metres by 4 metres and costs $350 per week. It includes two beds positioned on the right side, separated by a cupboard. Each occupant has a study desk, one near the top and the other near the bottom. A bathroom is located in the top-left corner, and the central area contains a table and chairs. Additional facilities such as a television, microwave, sink, and stove are arranged along the left wall.

In contrast, the single room is smaller, measuring 6 metres by 2.5 metres, and costs $200 per week. It contains only one bed and one study desk, both placed on the right side. The bathroom remains in a similar position, but the central space is more limited and does not include a table and chairs. The kitchen facilities are still present along the left wall, although arranged more compactly.
