The diagrams show the current layout of Southwest Airport and its planned redevelopment.

Overall, the airport will be significantly expanded, with more gates, improved transport connections, and additional passenger facilities.

At present, the airport has a simple structure with eight gates connected by a straight walkway. Departures and arrivals are separated at the bottom, each with security and passport control. There is also a café in the departures area and a check-in facility.

After development, the airport will be modernised and enlarged. The number of gates will increase from 8 to 18, arranged along a Y-shaped layout. A sky train will be introduced to transport passengers to the gates. A new shopping area will be added between security and the departure gates. Additional facilities such as bag drop, cafés, ATMs, and car hire services will also be provided, making the airport more convenient and efficient.
