The maps illustrate the current layout of Huntingdon and the proposed future developments.

Overall, the town is expected to undergo significant infrastructure expansion, particularly in terms of road networks and industrial development. While the town centre and railway station will remain, new transport links and a large industrial estate will be added.

At present, Huntingdon is centred around a ring road encircling the town centre, with Brampton Road connecting it to the west. A railway line runs north–south, with a station located to the southwest of the town centre. To the northwest, there is an airfield, and the A1 road runs vertically along the western side. The built-up area is concentrated around the town centre, with limited road connections beyond this zone.

In the future plan, the airfield will be replaced by a large industrial estate in the northwest. A new roundabout will be constructed at the junction of Brampton Road and the main road leading into the town centre, improving traffic flow. Additionally, a new major road (the A14) will be built to the south, linking the A1 to the ring road and creating a more efficient transport network.

Further changes include the extension of road connections eastward from the industrial estate, including another roundabout and connecting routes.
