The diagrams compare the layout of a village park now with its design 10 years ago.

Overall, the park has undergone substantial redevelopment, with more recreational facilities added and existing ones expanded. Natural features such as the pond and woods have been removed, while new amenities including a café, toilets, and a picnic area have been introduced.

Ten years ago, the park contained relatively basic facilities. In the centre was a football pitch, with two tennis courts located to the north. To the east, there was a children’s play area, while a small car park for 20 vehicles lay to the west. In the southern part, a pond was surrounded by a wooded area.

At present, the park is more developed and better equipped. The number of tennis courts has doubled to four and remains in the northern section. The car park has been expanded significantly to accommodate 50 cars near the entrance. The children’s play area has been upgraded and divided into two zones: a standard play area and a soft play area, with toilets added nearby.

In the southern half, the pond and woods have been replaced by a large picnic area, and a café has been built in the southeast corner. A cycle path now runs along the bottom of the park, further improving accessibility.
