The diagrams compare the layout of a museum in 1998 and 2008\.

Overall, the museum underwent a substantial reorganisation over the ten-year period. The central garden was replaced with fountains, new facilities such as a restaurant and additional shops were introduced, and several existing areas were relocated or expanded.

In 1998, the museum had a relatively simple layout. A garden occupied the centre, with a café positioned directly above it. On the lower level, the ticket entrance was located in the middle, flanked by a temporary exhibition room on the left and a shop on the right. A cloakroom and WC were situated in the bottom-right corner. Two permanent exhibition rooms were located on either side of the central area.

By 2008, the layout had become more complex and visitor-oriented. The garden was replaced by fountains, creating a redesigned central feature. The café remained but was reduced in size and moved slightly, while a new restaurant was added to the upper-left corner. The WC was relocated next to the café at the top.

On the ground level, the entrance area became larger, and the cloakroom was moved to the bottom centre. The single shop was replaced by multiple shops in the bottom-left corner. The temporary exhibition room remained on the left but was slightly repositioned. Meanwhile, the permanent exhibition area on the right was expanded significantly, occupying a larger portion of the floor plan.
