HƯỚNG DẪN VIẾT BÀI

IELTS Writing Task 1 – Waste Disposal Methods

đổ ra biển (dumping in sea)

2. Cách viết Introduction

Bạn chỉ cần paraphrase đề bài thôi nha.

Giữ đủ:

lượng rác
phương pháp xử lý
đơn vị (million tonnes)
các năm

3. Cách viết Overview

IELTSchef gợi ý bạn 2–3 ý chính:

Landfill giảm đều theo thời gian
Burning biến động nhưng kết thúc ở mức cao
Dumping in sea nhìn chung giảm hoặc dao động nhẹ

Bạn cũng có thể thêm:

Landfill là phương pháp cao nhất ở đầu kỳ, nhưng không còn dẫn đầu ở cuối kỳ

4. Cách chia Body

BODY 1 – Landfill & Dumping (xu hướng giảm)

Landfill:

Giảm liên tục

70 → 60 → 50 → 40

Dumping in sea:

Giảm nhẹ tổng thể

55 → 50 → 50 → 40

IELTSchef gợi ý:

Bạn có thể so sánh 2 phương pháp này vì đều đi xuống nha.

BODY 2 – Burning (xu hướng khác biệt)

Burning:

Giảm nhẹ rồi tăng mạnh

65 → 60 → 40 → 65

IELTSchef lưu ý:

Đây là phương pháp dao động rõ nhất, nên tách riêng để viết sẽ rõ hơn nha.

Bạn cũng có thể thêm:

Nó trở thành cao nhất vào năm 2008.

5. Gợi ý paraphrase

IELTSchef gợi ý bạn vài cách diễn đạt:

amount / volume of waste
disposal methods
increased / decreased / fluctuated
reached a peak / fell to

Ví dụ:

The amount of waste disposed of by landfill decreased steadily over the period nha.

By contrast, burning fluctuated significantly before rising again in the final year.

The bar chart compares the amount of waste disposed of by three methods between 2005 and 2008, measured in million tonnes.

Overall, landfill use declined steadily over the period, while burning fluctuated but ended as the dominant method. Dumping in the sea showed a slight overall decrease, despite a temporary rise in 2007.

In 2005, landfill was the primary method at 70 million tonnes, followed by burning at 65 and sea dumping at 55. By 2006, landfill had fallen to 60, equalling burning, while sea dumping dropped to 50. The downward trend in landfill continued in 2007, reaching 50, whereas burning decreased further to 40. In contrast, sea dumping rebounded to 50, matching landfill.

By 2008, landfill declined to its lowest point at 40 million tonnes. Burning, however, rose sharply to 65, becoming the most widely used method. Sea dumping returned to 40, the same level as landfill, indicating a convergence of these two methods at the end of the period.
