HƯỚNG DẪN VIẾT BÀI

IELTS Writing Task 1 – Fuel Use in Transport (EU Countries)

Dạng này là comparison between two years, nên bạn cần:

so sánh giữa các quốc gia
và so sánh sự thay đổi giữa 2009 và 2010

Không cần viết hết số, chỉ chọn số tiêu biểu thôi nha.

2. Cách viết Introduction

Bạn chỉ cần paraphrase đề bài thôi nha.

Giữ đủ:

tỷ lệ nhiên liệu sử dụng
lĩnh vực giao thông
các quốc gia \+ EU average
2 năm

5. Gợi ý paraphrase

IELTSchef gợi ý bạn một số cách diễn đạt:

percentage / proportion
fuel consumption / fuel use
increased / decreased / remained stable
slightly / significantly

Ví dụ:

Slovakia recorded the highest proportion of fuel use in transport, although this figure declined noticeably in 2010.

By contrast, Greece remained the lowest despite a moderate increase nha.

The bar chart compares the percentage of fuel used in the transport sector across six EU countries in 2009 and 2010, alongside the overall EU average.

Overall, Slovakia recorded the highest proportions in both years, despite a noticeable decline, while Greece had the lowest figures, although it experienced an increase. In general, changes between the two years were relatively modest, with a mix of slight rises and falls across countries.

In 2009, Slovakia led by a clear margin at 8.8 percent, followed by the EU average at 6.0 percent. Austria and Italy recorded similar levels at around 5.2 and 4.5 percent respectively, while France and Spain stood slightly lower at 3.7 and 3.8 percent. Greece had by far the smallest share at just 1.2 percent. By 2010, Slovakia’s figure had dropped significantly to 6.5 percent, although it remained the highest. Spain also saw a decline to 3.0 percent.

In contrast, several countries experienced increases. Italy rose from 4.5 to 5.2 percent, while France grew from 3.7 to 4.3 percent. Greece also increased notably to 2.0 percent, although it still ranked last. Austria remained unchanged at 5.2 percent, and the EU average decreased slightly from 6.0 to 5.0 percent.
